Bill to ensure all DuPage residents represented on water board clears Senate

Cullerton

State Sen. Tom Cullerton's (D-Dist. 23) legislation to protect the DuPage County Water Commission, S.B.381, recently passed the Senate with bipartisan support and next moves to the House for consideration.

Senate Bill 381 would change the Water Commission Act to ensure DuPage municipalities have representation from their local elected officials on the DuPage Water Commission.

“DuPage County has been a leader in government consolidation by creating a model for other communities to embrace to save Illinois taxpayer dollars,” Cullerton said. “This legislation ensures DuPage County residents have a voice in their local board to carry out their concerns.”
