Elk Grove delivers O'Hare comment cards to FAA.
Village of Elk Grove officials recently joined residents in delivering nearly 2,000 comment cards collected by the village and volunteers to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The comment cards requested that the FAA make the voluntarily fly quiet program mandatory, fund and expand soundproofing and maintain all runway options.
The meeting on Aug. 13 at Belvedere Events & Banquets was the fourth and final public meeting held by the FAA on their draft Re-Evaluation of the O’Hare Modernization Environmental Impact Statement.
