Warrenville has a vacancy on the city's Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals for Ward 2.
This Plan Commission consists of nine members including a chairman, vice chairman and secretary. The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of seven members that serve concurrently on the plan commission. The boards are comprised of citizens who are appointed volunteers and serve as a recommending body.
The Zoning Board of Appeals deals solely with issues related to variances. The Plan Commission is responsible for decisions or recommendations to the City Council on all other items.
Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are generally held the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.
