The Village of Woodridge Finance Department was recognized at last week's board meeting for receiving its first-ever Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) Award, a national honor that recognizes conformance with the highest standards in the preparation of state and local government reports.
The PAFR is created to present information regarding a municipality's financial activity in a simple manner.
The Government Finance Officers Association issues the award based on the program standards regarding creativity, presentation, understandability and reader appeal.
