Lisle Police hold first 'Walk & Talk'

Lisle

The Lisle Police Department on June 30 held its first "Walk & Talk" along Main Street, north of Ogden Avenue.

Lisle Police Chief Dave Anderson and deputy police chiefs Ron Wilke and Rob Munson knocked on doors to informally connect with residents in the neighborhoods, open lines of communication, build community partnerships and better understand local concerns.

The area north of Ogden Avenue was chosen for the first “Walk & Talk” as a follow-up to two community meetings that were recently held with neighborhood residents to address local issues of concern.

Over the next few months, the Lisle Police Command Staff will expand the initiative and conduct the exercise throughout the village of Lisle.
