Consumer group ranks Lisle 10th best place to start a business in Illinois

Lislebusiness

The Village of Lisle has been named the 10th best place to start a business in Illinois in an analysis by NerdWallet, a consumer financial research group based in San Francisco.

NerdWallet analyzed 285 Illinois towns with populations of 5,000 or more. Overall scores were calculated for each town based on the business climate and economic health using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Based on date, Lisle has more than 22,000 residents and 2,600 businesses. The median monthly housing cost of $1,407 makes living in the “Arboretum Village” more reasonable than many other places analyzed.

Also, the College of DuPage Center for Entrepreneurship is located in Lisle and offers training for businesses in marketing, government contracting, global expansion and other areas.

Lisle is committed to remaining pro-business, with the Lisle Economic Development Commission making the area even more business-friendly.
