The Village of Villa Park has developed a new billing format to make utility bills easier to read and understand.
The new bill, along with an explanation as to how to read them, were mailed out to customers on Friday.
Customers now will only receive one monthly bill. Late bills or shutoff notices will no longer be sent out.
Also, customers have the option of receiving the bill electronically.
Customers can sign up for the electronic bill on the village website at www.invillapark.com.
Customers are not required to pay their bill through the website.
