DuPage Medical Group (DMG) will receive the Henry C. Childs Economic Development and Community Improvement Award from the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
DMG will be recognized for the property redevelopment and construction of its 40,000-square-foot medical office building in Wheaton. The building houses the BreakThrough Care Center and over 30 DMG physicians practicing family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology. The facility also allows patients to easily schedule key appointments.
Wheaton Mayor Michael Gresk and key Wheaton Chamber and Wheaton Downtown Association members are expected at the presentation, which will be held at DMG’s Wheaton Medical Office Building, 150 E. Willow St., in Wheaton.
The Henry C. Childs Economic Development and Community Improvement Award is named after a local businessman responsible for designing safe community infrastructure. The award recognizes the development or redevelopment of a property that positively impacts economic development in Wheaton.
