Village of Westmont residents are invited to a community branding meeting next month to discuss the proposed community slogan, "The Progressive Village."
“We had more than 120 responses to the survey, and the great majority of those who participated were in favor of either changing the community slogan, or were at least open-minded to selecting a new one,” Westmont communications director Larry McIntyre said. “Less than 10 percent of those who responded felt strongly that the current slogan should remain in place. With that in mind, we’re planning a public meeting to get additional feedback and talk more about the overall branding of our community.”
Survey results will be shared and additional feedback will be sought during the meeting. The evening will also include a discussion of community history, vision, branding color palette and community imagery that best represents Westmont.
