Road closures in Elmhurst due to filming of NBC show
Elmhurst residents will notice road closures on Tuesday, April 7, and Thursday, April 9, due to NBC film crews filming the show "Chicago Fire."
Tomorrow, one lane of West Ave. will be closed from 1 to 4 p.m. due to a stunt rehearsal. During the closure, Elmhurst police and fire personnel will help direct traffic and conduct emergency response support.
On Thursday, filming will occur at Quarry, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. During the filming, both lanes of West Ave. will be closed from Alexander Blvd. to Third St.
During this time, traffic will be detoured from First St. or Second St. to Myrtle St., before returning back to West Ave.
