The Village of Itasca's Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on March 18 to consider recommending approval of the draft comprehensive plan prior to adoption.
The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Itasca Village Hall, 550 W. Irving Park Road, in the second-floor boardroom.
The hearing will include a presentation of plan recommendations, a discussion and an opportunity for the public to comment.
The draft plan addresses land use and development, transportation, parks, open space and environmental features, along with community facilities.
The plan also includes specific recommendations for Hamilton Lakes and the Rohlwing Road Industrial District.
The plan can be viewed online at www.hlplanning.com/dnn/itasca; click on the “Documents” tab. It also may be viewed in person in the community development department at Itasca Village Hall.
