    Illinois Republican Party Chairman and Cook County Commissioner Timothy O. Schneider (R-Bartlett) is president of an Elgin car wash that owes $21,448 in overdue property taxes from 2016, according to the Cook County Treasurer.

    Peggy Forster, director of information systems for the City of St. Charles, has announced her retirement after working for the city the past 37 years. Forster has served as director since 1997. She began her career as a part-time data-processing consultant in 1978. Forster has led the planning, design and implementation of numerous systems that support city operations, streamline processes and improve customer service.
