The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced its 2025 All-Region Teams, recognizing seven student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) in Region VIII. The NFCA honors players from ten regions, with selections made to one of three teams. Member head coaches nominate and vote for winners within their region.
Among the CCIW honorees, four were named to the First Team. Clare Rettler from Carthage and Jen Kuhn from Illinois Wesleyan were highlighted as the CCIW Offensive and Defensive Student-Athletes of the Year, respectively. Millikin’s Charley Condill and Augustana’s McKensey Stontz also received First Team honors.
Rettler repeated her First Team selection, while Kuhn earned her second consecutive honor after being picked for the Third Team in 2024.
Ella Hermes and Bella Pinter from Illinois Wesleyan were selected for the Second Team. Aubrey Gradin of Augustana was chosen for the Third Team.
These honorees will be considered for selection to the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced on May 28 at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Illinois.
