Report: Fenton School District spent $20,863 per student in 2019-20
Spending per pupil at Fenton Community High School District 100 was up 11.6 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $18,689 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,863 in 2019-20.
The district's enrollment fell from 1,478 to 1,430 students over the same period.
Fenton's spending in 2019-20 was 44 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
