Rep. Amy Grant honors fallen officers at State Capitol ceremony

State Representative Amy Grant attended a ceremony at the State Capitol to honor Illinois police officers who died in the line of duty during the past year. The event was held to pay tribute to these officers and acknowledge their sacrifice.

Grant expressed her sentiments about the occasion, stating, “The Fallen Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony is a solemn reminder of the bravery and strength of the men and women who serve and protect our communities.” She further added, “It was an honor to stand alongside officers from across Illinois to recognize the sacrifice of our fallen heroes and show support for their families. May their courage and service never be forgotten.”

The ceremony brought together law enforcement officers and lawmakers as they remembered those who lost their lives while serving.
