State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) and State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) will host a Senior Resource Fair on August 28 at the Wheaton Park District, located at 1777 S. Blanchard Street. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is free for local seniors, caregivers, and families.

The fair brings together over 40 agencies and organizations that provide services tailored to seniors. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with healthcare providers, agencies, and senior-focused service organizations. Free health screenings, including blood pressure checks and fall risk assessments, will be available onsite. Complimentary refreshments will also be provided.

“This event is a great opportunity for older adults and their families to explore the many resources available in our community,” said Rep. Grant. “Whether you’re looking for healthcare options, legal help, or utility savings, you’ll find it here all in one place.”

Organizations scheduled to participate include Advocate Health Advisors, Aetna, AgeOptions, Commonwealth Edison, DuPage County Health Department, DuPage Veterans Assistance Commission, Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Illinois State Police, Illinois Tollway, Oak Street Health, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, PACE, Wheaton Fire Department and others.

Amy Grant was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 47th House District after Deanne Mazzochi.
