Portion of Rt. 38 named after U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller
State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) honored U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Robert H. Miller on May 25 with the Senate’s passage of House Joint Resolution 60, which names a section of Illinois Route 38 (Roosevelt Road) in Wheaton in the fallen soldier’s honor. Specifically, the section of Rt. 38 in Wheaton between County Farm Road and Winfield Road will be known as the “U.S. Army SSG Robert J. Miller Memorial Highway.”
