180 million allocated to transportation improvements in Illinois' 24th Senate District

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has released its updated multi-year transportation improvement plan. State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) announced that $180,273,000 in IDOT funds will be allocated to projects in the 24th Senate District. Of this total, $154,159 is designated for state highway improvements within the district, and $26,114,000 is set aside for local highway enhancements. For the current fiscal year alone, $71.110 million is earmarked for various projects.
