Kirk cheers Senate passage of National Defense Authorization Act
U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) applauded Senate passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The bill passed the Senate 70-27 and now heads to the president's desk.The bill provides necessary resources for the military, including funding for additional military family housing units at Rock Island Arsenal and new F/A-18 Super Hornets, manufactured at the Boeing plant in St. Louis.
