Breakthrough Ideas, a public advocacy and education network, is opposing the tax hike that it says could derail many businesses and impoverish families and individuals in Milton Township. Jeanne Ives is the co-founder and CEO of Breakthrough Ideas and she is launching a campaign to oppose the tax hike.
Milton Township voters are being asked to approve a new annual tax to establish and maintain community mental health facilities and services (including services for persons with a developmental disability or substance disorder).
