Kirby School District 140 enrolls students through eighth grade. It serves more than 4,000 students from parts of Tinley Park, Orland Park and Orland Hills. Christa McAuliffe Elementary, John A. Bannes Elementary, Fernway Park Elementary, Helen Keller Elementary, Millennium Elementary, Virgil I. Grissom Middle School and Prairie View Middle School are the seven schools in Kirby District 140.
