Blair-Sherlock backs SB0248 to allow certain young felony offenders additional post-conviction petition rights
Rep. Diane Blair-Sherlock (D-46th) supported SB0248, which lets felony offenders younger than 21 file certain post-conviction petitions. The Illinois House passed the bill 63-42 on May 31, 2026.
