The Edgar County Watchdogs reported in Illinois Leaks that a complaint was filed against DuPage County Board member Donald Puchalski with the Office of the Executive Inspector General on Sept. 29.
Republican candidates for the DuPage County Board swept most of the seats, with only one Democratic holdover, Liz Chaplin of District 2, retaining her seat, making DuPage County a GOP haven on the county government level.
DuPage County Board officials violated state Election Code laws involving Election Day referenda last fall and should be ousted, the Edgar County Watchdogs alleged recently.
