Illinois Department On Aging

The Department evaluates and coordinates state programs, facilities, and services for the aging; consults with communities on local services; establishes alternative programs to institutional care; manages programs for victims of elder abuse or neglect; administers office of Long Term Care Ombudsman to investigate complaints of residents in long-term- care facilities.
