The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County invites local history enthusiasts to explore the rich past of Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve during “Fullersburg Days” on August 10 and 11 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Graue Mill and Museum and the Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center in Oak Brook.
Visitors are invited to try archery during a free open house on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon at Blackwell Forest Preserve in Warrenville.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County has announced that its wildlife treatment and education center in Glen Ellyn, formerly known as Willowbrook Wildlife Center, will reopen this fall as the DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center at Willowbrook Forest Preserve.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is hosting its annual fall native tree and shrub sale, offering a selection of 44 different species, including three new additions. All plants are locally grown from seed within 100 miles of DuPage County.
