Des Plaines Park District

Des Plaines Park District was formed in 1919 and aims to enhance the community by providing recreational opportunities, facilities, parks and open space. The district provides a number of programs for children and adults. It also oversees a number of facilities including swimming pools, a community center, a fitness center, a golf course and an adventure center. Des Plaines Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency.
