Four Chicago residents charged with burglary/retail theft at two Oak Brook stores

DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Oak Brook Chief of Police Brian Strockis announced today that charges have been filed against four Chicago residents for allegedly stealing merchandise from two Oak Brook stores in separate incidents. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin announced today that the Third District Appellate Court of Illinois has affirmed the first-degree murder conviction of sixty-five-year-old Donald Pelka in the 2018 shooting death of twenty-nine-year-old Kyle Gojdas of Glendale Heights. Carol Stream man sentenced to seven years for shooting at ex-girlfriend's vehicle

DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin announced today that a former Carol Stream man accused of firing a handgun at a vehicle occupied by his ex-girlfriend and another individual has been sentenced to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
