The truancy rate at Centennial School rose to six percent during the 2018-19 school year, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.
The Illinois Schools Report Card finds that 84.1 percent of teachers stay at Centennial School year to year, according to their 2020 three-year average.
Of the 495 students attending Centennial School in 2018, 53.2 percent scored proficient in English Language Arts and 50 percent were proficient in math, according to a report recently released by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
