American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees

There is one international office of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees in Florida, in addition to six council offices, a chapter of the Federation of Physicians and Dentists and a retiree chapter of AFSCME. Nationally, the union has 1.6 million members, 3,400 local unions and 58 councils. The union was formed in 1932.
