Junior guard Mike Vuckovic of North Park University has been named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career. The recognition comes after two strong performances last week.
Vuckovic scored 26 points, collected six rebounds, and recorded seven assists in a conference win over North Central. He also made five out of seven three-point attempts and had two steals during that game. In a subsequent matchup against Greenville, he added 27 points in only 19 minutes on the court.
According to league statistics, Vuckovic is currently the third leading scorer, averaging 20.2 points per game with a field-goal percentage of 52.7%. He has made 20 three-pointers this season.
