On Thursday, May 22, former Downers Grove North High School standout Maggie Ward’s current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks won 5-3 against the Saint Mary’s Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Saint Mary’s Softball Field at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Saint Mary’s Cardinals in the tournament.
The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 1 p.m. at Saint Mary’s Softball Field.
