Lakeland Flying Tigers beat Dunedin Blue Jays 8-2 on July 8; Downers Grove North standout Jude Warwick in lineup

On Wednesday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m., the Lakeland Flying Tigers — the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout Jude Warwick — defeated the Dunedin Blue Jays 8-2 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at TD Ballpark. It was the eighth meeting between the teams this season, leaving the Flying Tigers and Blue Jays tied 4-4 in the season series.
Warwick went 1-for-4, scored 1 run, recorded 2 RBIs, struck out 2 times and left 2 runners on base.
The Flying Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, at TD Ballpark against the Blue Jays.
