On Tuesday, April 22, former Wheaton Warrenville South High School standout Katey Pierce’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.
The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against Creighton Bluejays.
