On Saturday, April 19, former Wheaton Warrenville South High School standout Katey Pierce’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UConn Huskies.
The game took place at Cacciatore Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.

Laura Hois, candidate for Illinois House District 81, said DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek’s warnings to ICE amount to an admission that non-citizens have been voting in DuPage County and that her office has been operating as a partisan actor rather than a neutral election administrator for years.
