The following action was taken on May 15 in the House on House bill HR6 (“social security wep-eliminate”): “Resolution Adopted.”
The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Mary E. Flowers (D-31) on Nov. 30, 2018, “urges President Trump and the United States Congress to continue to work to find a solution to the problems created by the Windfall Elimination Provision,” according to the General Assembly website.
The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: LaToya Greenwood (D-114), Rita Mayfield (D-60) and Anne Stava-Murray (D-81).
