Illinois General Assembly: HB4 actions on May 15

The following actions were taken on May 15 in the House on House bill HB4 (“medicaid-doula services”): “Final Action Deadline Extended-9(b) May”, “To Medicaid & Managed Care Subcommittee” and “Assigned to Appropriations-Human Services Committee”.

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Mary E. Flowers (D-31) on Nov. 30, 2018, “amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code” and “provides that doula services shall be covered under the medical assistance program,” according to the General Assembly website.
