The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Jim Durkin (R-82) on Feb. 1, “appropriates $2 from the General Revenue Fund to the Judges Retirement System of Illinois for its FY20 ordinary and contingent expenses” and “effective July 1, 2019,” according to the General Assembly website.
