Hinsdale Central alum Jon Adams’ team, the Nashville Sounds, beat the Charlotte Knights 6-3 on July 8

On Wednesday, July 8, at 7:04 p.m., former Hinsdale Central High School standout Jon Adams and his current team, the Nashville Sounds, beat the Charlotte Knights 6-3 in a MiLB game.
The game was at Truist Field. It was the 14th meeting between the teams this season, with the Sounds leading the series 8-6.
Adams went 1-for-3, scored two runs, drew two walks, struck out once and left one runner on base.
The Sounds are scheduled to play the Knights again Thursday, July 9, at Truist Field.
