On Friday, July 10, at 6:35 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash — the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow — defeated the Asheville Tourists 7-3.
The game was played at HomeTrust Park. It was the 10th meeting between the teams this season, and the Dash hold a 7-3 advantage in the season series against the Tourists.
Wolkow went 0 for 4, struck out once and left five runners on base.
The Dash’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, at HomeTrust Park against the Tourists.
