On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Wheaton Academy standout Andrew Laplant’s current collegiate team the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks won 35-27 against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Key Stadium at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the tournament.
The Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks’ next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. at Top Taggart Field.
