Former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow played in MiLB game on Friday, July 24

On Friday, July 24, at 6:30 p.m., former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow's team, the Winston-Salem Dash, beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers 10-3 in a MiLB game.
The game took place at Truist Stadium. It was the 22nd meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash trailing 10-12 in the season series against the Grasshoppers.
Wolkow went 1-for-2, scored two runs and drew two walks.
The Dash's next game is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at Truist Stadium against the Winston-Salem Dash.
