Evansville Purple Aces fall 11-6 to California Baptist Lancers; Max Hansmann pitches 5 innings

On Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m., Max Hansmann, a former York Community High School standout, and his Evansville Purple Aces team were defeated 11-6 by the California Baptist Lancers in an NCAA Division I baseball game.
The matchup was held at James W. Totman Stadium and marked the teams' first game against the Lancers this season.
Hansmann pitched five innings, allowing five earned runs, issuing one walk, and striking out five batters.
Evansville will face the Lancers again on Saturday, March 21, at James W. Totman Stadium.
