At 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, the Inland Empire 66ers, featuring former Montini Catholic High School standout Estevan Moreno, beat the Ontario Tower Buzzers 5-2 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at ONT Field. It was the 13th meeting between the teams this season; the 66ers trail the Tower Buzzers 5-8 in the season series.
Moreno went 0 for 4, struck out three times and left two runners on base.
The 66ers' next game is Wednesday, July 8, at ONT Field against the Tower Buzzers.
