On Sunday, April 27, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.
The game took place at Valpo Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 5 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Northern Iowa Panthers.
