Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow’s Winston-Salem Dash lose 5-4 in MiLB game on Thursday, July 9

On Thursday, July 9, at 6:35 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash, the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow, lost 5-4 to the Asheville Tourists in an MiLB game.
The game took place at HomeTrust Park. It was the ninth meeting between the teams this season, and the Dash held a 6-3 advantage in the season series against the Tourists.
Wolkow went 1-for-5, drove in one run, struck out twice and left one runner on base.
The Dash’s next game is scheduled for Friday, July 10, at HomeTrust Park against the Tourists.
