Cordeiro takes mound as Cal State San Bernardino falls 8-6 to Cal Poly Pomona in Division II baseball

Former Naperville North High School standout Harrison Cordeiro pitched for the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes at 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, in an NCAA Division II contest. The Coyotes were edged out by the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos, 8-6.
Fiscalini Field hosted the first meeting of the season between the Coyotes and Broncos.
Cordeiro gave up five earned runs and issued two walks over 2.2 innings of work.
The Coyotes are set to face Cal Poly Pomona again at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Fiscalini Field.
