Community Unit School District 200 has announced it is seeking proposals from executive search firms to assist in a national search for a new superintendent. The Board of Education is starting the process to find a qualified candidate who would begin work on July 1, 2027.
The district stated, “The Board of Education is beginning its search for a qualified candidate for superintendent for schools to start work July 1, 2027. To assist in the search for the most qualified candidate, the Board is seeking to retain the services of an executive search firm with experience in the recruitment of superintendents.”
Community Unit School District 200 serves several schools in DuPage County, including Bower Elementary School, Carl Sandburg Elementary School, Clifford Johnson School, Edison Middle School, Emerson Elementary School, Franklin Middle School, Hawthorne Elementary School, Hubble Middle School, Jefferson Early Childhood Center, Lincoln Elementary School, Longfellow Elementary School, Lowell Elementary School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Middle School, Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, Wheaton North High School, Wheaton Warrenville South High School, Whittier Elementary School and Wiesbrook Elementary School.
