The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has placed 12 student-athletes from four member schools on the 2025 Associated Press Division III All-America Team. North Central College led all Division III programs with seven selections, while Wheaton College had three honorees. Carroll University and Illinois Wesleyan University each contributed one selection.
North Central’s representation included four First Team members. Senior defensive lineman John Sullivan was named Division III Defensive Player of the Year by the AP. Head coach Brad Spencer received recognition as Division III Coach of the Year.
Sullivan anchored North Central’s defense, recording 64 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. Senior wide receiver Thomas Skokna was also a First Team pick after leading Division III with 23 touchdown receptions and totaling 75 catches for 1,156 yards. He earned CCIW Art Keller Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year honors. Junior offensive lineman Cortez Jones and senior defensive back Rahmareon Roby rounded out North Central’s First Team selections.
Three Cardinals were named to the AP Second Team: sophomore quarterback Garret Wilson, who posted a Division III-best passing efficiency rating and threw 39 touchdowns; senior offensive lineman Jerred Durian, who started every game at center without allowing a sack; and senior kicker Aidan Ellison, who converted 13-of-15 field goals including a record-setting 57-yarder.
Carroll’s Reed Breckheimer became the first Pioneer in program history to earn AP First Team All-America honors. The senior tight end finished his season with 46 receptions for 488 yards, along with over 300 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns.
Wheaton saw three athletes honored: Peter Johanik (Second Team), who led the CCIW in tackles for loss and sacks; Colin Moore (Second Team), who tied for most interceptions in Division III; and Aidan Kingsbury (Third Team).
Illinois Wesleyan junior long snapper Zach Hansen made Second Team Special Teams, becoming both his program’s first All-America long snapper and its first AP All-American since 2018.
