CCIW football players recognized on 2025–26 Academic All-District teams

College Communicators (CSC) has announced the 2025–26 Academic All-District Teams, which honor student-athletes for their achievements in both athletics and academics. The program recognizes individuals from NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA .

Student-athletes named to the Academic All-District Teams are eligible to advance to the Academic All-America ballot. Those listed as Academic All-America finalists will participate in national voting by CSC members. The announcement of first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees is scheduled for January 27.

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) had student-athletes from all 10 member and associate institutions selected for Academic All-District recognition. The honored students are:

From Augustana: Ryan Gustafsson, TJ Klein, Josh Lim, Ben Ludlum, Cole Schroeder, Toby Splitt*, Ethan Vrabec.

From Carroll: Aaron Appiah-Kubi, Luke Brosig, Tristan Caudill, Evan Griffiths, Max Katsenos, Jack Madigan, Anthony Martorano, Brendan Raciak.

From Carthage: Koen Abreu, Gavin Betts, Jack Crudele, Collin Durian, Lucas Kusmierz, AJ Lattimore, Britton Stanton.

From Elmhurst: John Odom and Jace Zeffiro.

From Illinois Wesleyan: Joey DeMaio, Nate Frank, Hardy Johnson, Luke Zunkel.

From Millikin: Joe Brummer, Kyle Corkill, Aiden Etchason.

From North Central: Nate Boylan*, Philip Carlton Jr., Jerred Durian*, Aidan Ellison*, Matt Janiak*, Tucker Johnson, Danny Nuccio*, Jack Rummell.

From North Park: Caleb Apodaca, Elijah Chandler, Aidan Delisi, Armando Martinez, Jereme Ombogo*, Jaysen Perez.

From WashU: Matias Adrogue*, Dominic Begora, Brady Cavan*, Conner Durkin, TJ Houston, Brett Kersemeier, Ryan Schmadtke and Spencer Snipe.

From Wheaton: Joseph Bracy*, Ethan Brunner, Whit Jewett, Rex Kroger*, David Nussbaum*, Josiah Smith* and Caleb Titherington*.

“Student-athletes selected to the Academic All-District Teams were eligible for advancement to the Academic All-America ballot. Those designated as Academic All-America finalists (denoted with an asterisk*) will move on to national voting conducted by CSC membership. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Jan. 27.”

The CCIW’s representation across all its programs highlights the academic dedication of its student-athletes alongside their athletic commitments.
