Carroll University freshman Miley Brooks has been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s bowling. The announcement was made on Wednesday morning.

Brooks played a key role in helping the Carroll Pioneers achieve a sixth-place finish at Valparaiso’s Windy City Halloween Classic last weekend. She finished eighth among individual competitors, with an average score of 197 throughout the tournament. Brooks also recorded the event’s highest single game, scoring 269.

During the competition, Brooks converted over 93 percent of her single-pin spares and achieved a strike rate above 37 percent.

The CCIW continues to highlight student-athletes who perform well during the season. Previous honorees for the 2025-26 women’s bowling weekly award include Ava Butt from Carroll, who was recognized on October 15.
